Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Eric Fassett (ranked 1091 p4p, 2826 weight class) and Jimmy Jackman (ranked 82 p4p, 193 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jimmy Jackman!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackman connects with a single shot there.
Jackman misses with an uppercut.
Fassett misses with a body punch
and Jackman counters with a straight right hand.
Fassett cracks Jackman with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Jackman throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Fassett counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Fassett connects with a couple of short punches.
Jackman wants to sweep but no luck.

Jackman working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fassett doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fassett manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Jackman is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Fassett slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Fassett seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Jackman for as long as he can get away with.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Jackman throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Fassett looks to land a left hand but Jackman moved out of range nicely.

Fassett has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Jackman is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Fassett yanks on the arm and Jackman is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Fassett.
