Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Skinny Man (ranked 3275 p4p, 5174 weight class) and Chris Tavistock (ranked 393 p4p, 531 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Chris Tavistock was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Skinny Man!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chris Tavistock!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tavistock is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Man's half guard.
Man kicks off Tavistock and gets to his feet.

Tavistock lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Man gets back to full guard.
Tavistock scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Tavistock has gone for a leg lock! Man slips out almost immediately though and dives into Tavistock's guard.
Tavistock is looking to stand up but Man isn't so interested in that idea.
Man really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Tavistock keeping moving, preventing Man from controlling successfully.
Man prevents Tavistock from getting back to his feet.
Man works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Man stops Tavistock from getting back to his feet.
Man decides to stand up.
Tavistock throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Man was covering up waiting for the punch and Tavistock finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Man is looking for a triangle but Tavistock pushes his legs off easily.
Tavistock stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Man swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Man trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Tavistock must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Tavistock's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Man has momentary wrist control but Tavistock slips an elbow through the middle.
Man pulls Tavistock in close to prevent any damage.
Man will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Tavistock working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Man's head.
Oh Man is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Tavistock gets to his feet and stands over Man, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Man felt that one! Tavistock unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Man from any more punishment!

After the fight, Chris Tavistock was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
