Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Malig Mferi (ranked 599 p4p, 1040 weight class) and Pate Ro (ranked 72 p4p, 118 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mferi cracks Ro with a right hand to the side of the head.
Mferi feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Ros jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Ro misses the body punch
and Mferi cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Ro throws a jab when Mferi was well out of range.
Ro misses with a looping right.
Mferi rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Ro counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Mferi throws the left hand but Ro avoids the punch easily.
Ro looks like he wants to counter punch here.

and Ro counters with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Malig Mferi has been cut.
Mferi scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Ro looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mferi seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

and Ro counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Oooooh!!! Ro has knocked Mferi down with a huge combo! Ro steps away and waves a wobbly Mferi back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Ro flashes Mferi a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Mferi's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Mferi crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Ro punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
