I was talking to Washington's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Washington drops Fujimoto with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Fujimoto looks back up at him and smiles so Washington waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fujimoto avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Washington is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Fujimoto flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Fujimoto is out cold! Washington holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
