The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hughes throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Hughes moves into the clinch successfully.
Hughes is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Nolan is defending well for now.
Hughes lands a hook that snaps the head of Nolan backwards.
Nolan wants to break the clinch but can't.
Nolan takes a shot to the head.
Nolan is rocked!
It looks like Jason Nolan has been cut.
Hughes pushes Nolan against the cage. Hughes is working some dirty boxing. Hughes pushes off with a quick right hook! Nolan goes down! Nolan tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Hughes moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
