Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Boris Yeltsin Jr (ranked 1479 p4p, 1668 weight class) and Tico Tico (ranked 108 p4p, 120 weight class). Tico is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Paco De Lucia - Tico Tico . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yeltsin Jr throws a hook to the side of Tico's head but Tico sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Tico checks a leg kick.
Yeltsin Jr lands a jab.

It looks like Tico Tico has been cut.
Tico misses with a low kick.
Tico slips a straight right by Yeltsin Jr.
Yeltsin Jr throws a leg kick which misses Tico's front leg but catches the back leg as Tico tries to avoid it.
Yeltsin Jr is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Tico lands with a nice body punch.
Tico dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Yeltsin Jr lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tico throws out a loose jab but Yeltsin Jr uses good head movement to avoid it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Tico. Yeltsin Jr does a little dance to reset his feet.

Tico was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

Tico cracks Yeltsin Jr with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Tico swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Tico uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Yeltsin Jr.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tico has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Yeltsin Jr throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

and Tico counters with a series of strikes. Yeltsin Jr will be more careful next time no doubt.

Oh Yeltsin Jr is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

and Tico counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Yeltsin Jr falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!

A very excited looking Tico Tico rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
