Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 38 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Roland Weudke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 35 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dalton McConnell!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Percy O'Donnell and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McConnell's corner calls for a 1-2. McConnell obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

It looks like Roland Weudke has been cut.
A left lands for Weudke.
Weudke fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
McConnell feints a counter leg kick.
Weudke lands with a nice body punch.
A decent looking cross lands there for Weudke.
Weudke throws a chopping leg kick but McConnell manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
McConnell now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Weudke tries a head kick but it misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McConnell fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Weudke has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Weudke shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

A little feinted left hand from Weudke on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

McConnell fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Weudke.

McConnell looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

McConnell connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Weudke misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

McConnell throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

McConnell bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
McConnell looks like he wants to counter punch here.

McConnell takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Weudke walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

McConnell lands a big head kick that sends Weudke tumbling to the mat! McConnell takes a step backwards and waves Weudke back to his feet - he wants the finish!
