Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Max Gunn (ranked 24106 p4p, 24410 weight class) and Michael McConnell (ranked 495 p4p, 505 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McConnell lands with a nice body kick.
McConnell shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gunn as he avoids it easily.
McConnell scores with a one two! Gunn had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

McConnell has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

McConnell turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and McConnell manages to end up in side control.
