Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Micah Murray (ranked 268 p4p, 595 weight class) and Lyman Hicks (ranked 27 p4p, 52 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Micah Murray has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Micah Murray seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left lands for Hicks.

Murray moves into the clinch.

Hicks escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Murray defending well as Hicks loads up on a big left hand.
Murray looks to land a right hand but Hicks moved out of range.
Hicks looks to score with a jab to the body but Murray is just out of range.
Hicks works Murray's body with a nice hook.
Hicks lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Murray wants to clinch.
Hicks throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Murray counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Murray misses with a short punch on the inside.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Murray gets through Hicks's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Murray is trying to pull guard but Hicks turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Murray pulls guard.
Hicks stays in close to Murray's body and controls the position.

Hicks avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Hicks trying to control the position from guard on top but Murray is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hicks must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Hicks is sitting in close to Murray's body. Murray has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Hicks is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Hicks is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Murray.
