The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Joteel rushes MacGowan and presses him up against the cage.
Joteel tries for a takedown but MacGowan manages to get underhooks.
MacGowan is fighting off a takedown attempt but Joteel is just too persistent for him and manages to trip MacGowan to the mat. MacGowan regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Joteel (2) vs (0) MacGowan
MacGowan has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Joteel should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, MacGowan has tightened it up now! Joteel should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
