Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Bleak (ranked 1755 p4p, 2622 weight class) and Naoise Durnin (ranked 212 p4p, 321 weight class). Durnin has chosen I'm Shipping Up To Boston by The Dropkick Murphy's as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durnin throws a body punch but Bleak moves out of range.
A slow jab from Durnin misses its intended target.
Some wild striking there from Durnin.
Bleak connects with a crisp jab.

enabling Bleak to counter with a crisp jab.

Bleak misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Durnin.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Durnin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bleak moves away.
Durnin throws a low kick but it's checked well by Bleak.
Naoise Durnin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Bleak counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Bleak tries to free his leg and advance position but Durnin is retaining full guard.
Durnin avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Bleak trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Durnin is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bleak is controlling him.

Bleak drops back looking for a leg! Durnin is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Durnin manages to kick Bleak off! Bleak jumps back into Durnin's guard.
Bleak sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Durnin's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bleak seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Durnin is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
