Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Pharoah The First Chai (ranked 23780 p4p, 22222 weight class) and Farto Fuerte (ranked 404 p4p, 408 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Pharoah The First Chai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 18 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Farto Fuerte!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Emerson Jorge and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chai moves into range and connects with a jab.
Chai scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Chai misses with a hook
and Fuerte counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Chai connects with a crisp jab.
No joy there for Chai, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Fuerte lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

and Fuerte counters with a nice uppercut.
Fuerte has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
A jab from Chai finds it's way through Fuerte's defenses.
It looks like Farto Fuerte has been cut.

Chai lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

A nice side step and Fuerte releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Chai throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Fuerte throws a fast counter high kick but Chai manages to duck under it in time.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Fuerte uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Chai.

Oh Chai is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Chai throws a hook to the side of Fuerte's head but Fuerte sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Pharoah The First Chai is winning the standup battle so far.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Chai, as that shot connected.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fuerte takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

Fuerte displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Chai throws out the jab.
Chai misses with a head kick.
Fuerte is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Fuerte checks a leg kick.
Chai throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Farto Fuerte is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Chai feints and then cracks Fuerte's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Fuerte down.

and as Chai tries to reset, Fuerte cracks him with a perfect counter right hand that drops him to the mat! Chai is trying to get up but he's doing the chicken dance and face plants back to the floor - that's enough for the referee and he's called the bout! This one is all over!
