Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Dick Tiger (ranked 4152 p4p, 3657 weight class) and Roberto Duran (ranked 456 p4p, 423 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dick Tiger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Roberto Duran!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Daniel Blasius and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tiger connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

It looks like Roberto Duran has been cut.
Duran loads up on a big right hand but Tiger slips the punch.
Duran throws a jab but it's blocked by Tiger.
Duran has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Duran ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tiger moves away.
Duran takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Tiger connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Tiger definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Tiger misses with a hook. Duran ducked under it nicely.
Dick Tiger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Duran takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Duran catches Tiger with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Tiger clobbers Duran with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Tiger connects with a body shot that sends Duran's belly button to the back.

and Duran makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Duran slips a jab from Tiger.
Duran feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Tigers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Duran counters with a right, followed by a huge uppercut that sends Tiger crashing to the mat! Tiger is trying to use the ropes to get back to his feet but he's all over the place - the referee has seen enough and has stopped the fight! Duran screams with a mixture of joy and relief, whilst celebrating with his cornermen.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Roberto Duran!
Our winner, Roberto Duran, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
