Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Neal Robson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Frank Jaxon!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, John Kavanagh and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robson sizes up Jaxon with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

It looks like Frank Jaxon has been cut.
Robson is looking to land body kicks.
Robson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Robson scores with a hook to the body. Jaxon takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Robson digs a good hook to Jaxon's body.

Robson takes a swing at Jaxon's ribcage but misses.
Robson looks to land a combination but Jaxon avoids it well.
Jaxon throws out a counter right but Robson avoids it with no problem.

Robson is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Jaxon takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Jaxon uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Robson.
Robson moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Robson is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Robson throws an overhand right that lands on Jaxon's shoulder, as Jaxon tries to avoid the shot.
Jaxon steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Robson.
Jaxon closes the distance and clinches up with Robson, looking for a takedown. Jaxon pushes Robson against the cage but Robson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Robson fails to land with a series of punches.
Jaxon looks like he wants to counter punch here.

A clash of legs there as Jaxon blocks the low kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jaxon shoots in looking for a takedown. Robson tries to sprawl out of it but Jaxon keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Robson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The crowd cheers as Robson lands an impressive looking overhand right. Jaxon doesn't seem phased though.
Robson throws a right and a left that both miss.
Jaxon shoots in for a takedown but Robson shows good takedown defense.
Neal Robson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Jaxon.

Jaxon has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Robson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Jaxon bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Neal Robson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Jaxon cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Jaxon looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Robson connects with a body shot that sends Jaxon's belly button to the back.

Jaxon wants to counter with a clinch but Robson pushes him away.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Robson. Jaxon shrugs it off though.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A looping hook to the body misses from Robson. Jaxon does a little dance to reset his feet.
Robson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jaxon takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Neal Robson is winning the standup battle so far.
Jaxon fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Robson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Robson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jaxon can do to turn this around?
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Jaxon counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Jaxon wants to counter with a clinch but Robson pushes him away.
Robson catches Jaxon with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Robson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Robson tries to sprawl but Jaxon drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Robson scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Jaxon manages to mount him!

Jaxon looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Jaxon has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Jaxon is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Robson is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Robson flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Jaxon anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Robson and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Jaxon slips an arm under Robson chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Jaxon has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Jaxon is squeezing on Robson like an anaconda would it's prey. Robson fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Frank Jaxon!
A relieved looking Frank Jaxon thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
