Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ryder Gauthier (ranked 3920 p4p, 2830 weight class) and Ilander Runner (ranked 440 p4p, 322 weight class). Ilander Runner has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryder Gauthier!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ilander Runner!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Arvi Lind and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gauthier clinches.
Runner has a couple of punches blocked by Gauthier.
Runner breaks from the clinch.
Gauthier dips to his left and cracks Runner with an uppercut!
Gauthier lands a head shot.
Gauthier misses with a series of wild punches.
Runner is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
Gauthier scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Runner doesn't seem bothered though.
Runner throws a low kick but it's checked well by Gauthier.
Gauthier darts in trying to clinch
and Runner counters with a three punch combo that has Gauthier backing up. Gauthier nods at Runner to acknowledge the strikes.
Runner has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Runner tries to clinch but Gauthier is having none of it.
Gauthier is looking to counter the offense by Runner and move into the clinch.
Gauthier is looking to clinch but Runner is avoiding it.
Gauthier comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Gauthier has managed to clinch.
Gauthier lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Gauthier lands an elbow that stopped Runner in his tracks for a moment.

Runner landing knees to the body.
Runner jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Gauthier walks away with a smile on his face. Runner gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Runner takes a swing at Gauthier's ribcage but misses.
Gauthier lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Gauthier scores with a nice strike.
The crowd cheers as Gauthier lands an impressive looking overhand right. Runner doesn't seem phased though.
Gauthier bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Gauthier is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Runner misses with a low kick as Gauthier jumps back.
Runner looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Runner ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gauthier moves away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Runner takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Gauthier stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Gauthier on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Gauthier moves into the clinch successfully.
Gauthier lands a shoulder strike.
Gauthier lands a hook to the side of the head.
Runner tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Gauthier lands a hook to the side of the head.
Runner is trying to drag Gauthier to the mat but Gauthier just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Ryder Gauthier has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ilander Runner.
Runner is trying to pull guard but Gauthier turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Runner pulls Gauthier into guard.
Runner is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Gauthier trying to control the position from guard on top but Runner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Runner bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gauthier's guard.
Runner trying to control but Gauthier is working from the bottom.
Gauthier wants to control but Runner passes easily into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Runner is trying for a kimura here. Gauthier looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Runner wins by kimura!

An out of breath Ilander Runner thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
