Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Haraldr Harfagri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simo Supermies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harfagri comes to the ring accompanied by Pursuit of Vikings. Simo Supermies has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Supermies or perhaps it was just good defense by Harfagri which made him look bad.
Harfagri misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Harfagri looks to land a combination but Supermies avoids it well.
Harfagri avoids the body shot from Supermies.

Supermies shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Harfagri manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Harfagri is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Supermies defends well.

Harfagri escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Supermies gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Supermies looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Harfagri with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Supermies seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Harfagri does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Supermies is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Harfagri is just riding it out for now. Supermies eventually gives up the hold.

Supermies drops back looking for a leg! Harfagri is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Harfagri manages to kick Supermies off! Supermies jumps back into Harfagri's guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Supermies shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Harfagri but Harfagri pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Supermies changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Harfagri tries to avoid it but Supermies manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Harfagri to the ground. Harfagri escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Haraldr Harfagri has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Simo Supermies.

Harfagri feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Supermies is looking for the choke from the back position but Harfagri is controlling his hands well.
