The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Erkkila walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

It looks like Jorma Erkkila has been cut.
Ramirez turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Ramirez thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Erkkila if he has to take too many more of those.
Ramirez slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Erkkila tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Ramirez scores with a jab to the jaw.
Ramirez fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Erkkila.
Ramirez lands a nice hook to Erkkila's body. Erkkila takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Ramirez scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A jab lands there for Ramirez.

Ramirez cracks Erkkila with a left hand that drops him to the canvas, up against the ropes! Can Erkkila get back up in time? 3, 4, 5, 6, 7... he's on one knee... 8, 9... he's up! 'Walk towards me' says the referee. Erkkila looks steady enough to continue so we're going to continue!
Ramirez is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Erkkila is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Ramirez doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Erkkila crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Erkkila's bad books for that mishap!
