Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Franco Fajardo (ranked 890 p4p, 751 weight class) and Anton Krylov (ranked 109 p4p, 92 weight class). Franco Fajardo could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Anton Krylov's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Anton Krylov!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, David Schapiro and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fajardo doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Fajardo throws a hook to the side of Krylov's head but Krylov sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Fajardo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Krylov moves away.
Fajardo misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Krylov.
Krylov jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Krylov throws an off balance right hand
and Krylov takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Krylov moves away from the strike by Fajardo.

Fajardo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Krylov was well out of range. Poor timing from Fajardo.

Fajardo throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Krylov sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Fajardo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Krylov throws an overhand right that lands on Fajardo's shoulder, as Fajardo tries to avoid the shot.
Fajardo drops down looking for a counter takedown but Krylov sprawls and moves away.

Fajardo walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Krylov scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Krylov might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Fajardo haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Krylov is looking for a kimura but Fajardo is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Krylov to get the leverage.
Fajardo is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Krylov's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Krylov's back!

Krylov felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Krylov drops back, looking for a kneebar! Fajardo looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Fajardo looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Fajardo!

That was a close second round but I would say that Franco Fajardo will probably get the nod.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Fajardo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Krylov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fajardo has managed to get both his arms back between Krylov's legs - danger averted.

Krylov escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fajardo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
