Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Calico Reddick (ranked 1939 p4p, 2719 weight class) and Benny Lavender (ranked 285 p4p, 370 weight class). Reddick kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is LXST CXNTURY. Calico Reddick has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Calico Reddick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Benny Lavender!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Jeff Smith and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lavender throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Reddick counters with a left and a right that stings Lavender.
Sloppy strikes from Lavender. Those never looked like landing.
Lavender swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lavender falls off balance throwing a combination
and Reddick counters with a nice body kick.
Reddick is looking to slow Lavender down with leg kicks.
Lavender throws a right and a left that both miss.
Lavender throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Reddick counters with a body kick.
Lavender looks winded!
Reddick scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters circle momentarily. Reddick darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Lavender chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Reddick can pounce on him.
Reddick sends Lavender crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Reddick is motioning to the referee to let Lavender up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Lavender is rocked!
Lavender throws a predictable looking body shot
and Reddick counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Lavender thinking.
Lavender is still on wobbly legs! Can Reddick finish him?

Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Reddick throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Lavender is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Calico Reddick!
