With a record of 9 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pierre Ledoux!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ledoux staying out of range there.

King lands a big right hand that sends Ledoux crashing to the mat! King stays standing though and waves Ledoux back to his feet!

Ledoux is rocked!

It looks like Pierre Ledoux has been cut.
Ledoux looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
King throws a right hand that misses

and Ledoux counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
King is trying to escape back to his feet but Ledoux uses the scramble to pass into side control.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Ledoux working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
This has been an exciting period of action!
King parries the strikes from Ledoux easily there. Ledoux is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable King to escape.
Ledoux is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Ledoux has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
