Johnston throws a series of punches but Talo moves out of range.
Talo tries to counter by clinching up but Johnston breaks away and moves out of range.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Talo for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

Talo jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Johnston walks away with a smile on his face. Talo gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Johnston swats away the attempt to clinch by Talo.
Johnston throws a right and a left that both miss.
Talo goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Johnston on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Talo drops Johnston with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Johnston! Talo dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kauko Johan Talo!
A very excited looking Kauko Johan Talo made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
Martin Johnston spoke after the fight, saying 'I just want to apologise to all the boys back home. I let you down. I'll be back, bigger and better I promise you.'.
