Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wanderson Machado (ranked 172 p4p, 434 weight class) and Quebra Cranio (ranked 23 p4p, 54 weight class). Machado comes into the arena with El Barrio blaring out of the sound system. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cranio rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Machado counters with a two punch combo.
Cranio connects with a right hand. Machado shakes it off.
Cranio throws out a loose jab but Machado uses good head movement to avoid it.
Machado appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Cranio swings away with a body shot that misses
and Cranio takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Quebra Cranio has been cut.
Cranio misses with a series of wild punches.
Machado takes one on the chin but seems OK.

and Machado counters with a nice low kick that buckles Cranio's knee momentarily.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

It looked like Machado wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Cranio has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Cranio tries to bum rush Machado with a series of wild strikes but Machado uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Machado with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Cranio to score with a decent uppercut.

Quebra Cranio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fighters circling - Cranio throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Machado appears to be looking for a big counter.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
