Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tinashe Chukwuma (ranked 90 p4p, 103 weight class) and Malcolm Rivera (ranked 9 p4p, 11 weight class). Rivera has chosen BAD COMPANY as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 11 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tinashe Chukwuma!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Malcolm Rivera!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivera lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Chukwuma connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Chukwuma misses with a looping right.
Rivera pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rivera circles away from the clinch attempt
and Rivera counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
A decent looking cross lands there for Chukwuma.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chukwuma throws a shot from downtown. Rivera moves away and avoids it.
A countering left hand to the body from Rivera misses.
Rivera swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Chukwuma closes the distance looking to clinch
and Rivera makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Chukwuma misses with an uppercut.
Rivera is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Chukwuma with a body shot.
Chukwuma throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Rivera cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Tinashe Chukwuma has been cut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Chukwuma. Rivera does a little dance to reset his feet.
Rivera now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Chukwuma throws a lazy body kick
letting Rivera counter with a right hand.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Chukwuma lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Rivera has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Rivera and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
And Rivera responds with a good body kick, but Chukwuma manages to step out the way in time.
Chukwuma misses with a leg kick
and Rivera scores with a counter punch that sends Chukwuma to the canvas! Rivera smells blood - he's punishing Chukwuma with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Chukwuma has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Malcolm Rivera!
