Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Miami Vice (ranked 250 p4p, 838 weight class) and Nils Norling (ranked 36 p4p, 117 weight class). Vice comes to the cage accompanied by Miami Vice Theme. Norling has chosen Eminem - Go To Sleep as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Miami Vice!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nils Norling!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vice looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Norling is fending him off so far but Vice persists. Nope, Norling circles away and we're back to standing.
Vice goes for a double leg but Norling avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Norling continues to drive forward.
Vice has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Norling is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Miami Vice. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Vice wants to control but Norling passes easily into half guard.
Vice is trying to control but can't.
Vice is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Vice trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Norling pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Vice tries to hold on but Norling pushes him away.
Vice is desperately trying to improve his position but Norling has a good base and remains in mount.

Norling avoids the attempt from Vice to control.

Norling throws some wild stikes that Vice manages to avoid easily.

Vice tries to hold on but Norling pushes him away.

Norling throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Norling stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Norling moves away from the strike by Vice.
Norling drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Vice defends it well.
Norling throws a hook to the side of Vice's head but Vice sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Good work by Vice as he checks the leg kick.

Norling tries to keep at a distance but Vice has taken the fight into the clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Vice tries to score a body lock takedown but Norling shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Norling misses with a short punch on the inside.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Nils Norling dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Vice takes one to the side of the head.

It looks like Miami Vice has been cut.
Norling lands a lovely overhand right.
Norling scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Miami Vice is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Vice slips a straight right by Norling.
Vice appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Vice keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Vice shoots for a double leg takedown but Norling sprawls well. He's pushed Vice's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Vice blocks a jab.
Norling loads up on a big right hand but Vice slips the punch.
Vice closes this distance looking for a takedown but Norling circles away.
Norling changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Vice misses with a takedown attempt - Norling sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Vice throws an overhand right that lands on Norling's shoulder, as Norling tries to avoid the shot.

Vice dives in and grabs Norling's left leg, looking for a takedown. Norling pushes down on Vice's head and hops out.
Norling looks to land a combination but Vice avoids it well.
Vice ducks under a wild hook from Norling.
Vice shoots in looking for a takedown. Norling tries to sprawl out of it but Vice keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Norling manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Norling stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Norling lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Vice is looking to close the distance but Norling sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Vice crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Vice is OK because that was naaaaaasty!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Knee). Nils Norling!
Nils Norling bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
