Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Haitian Ginger!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Percy O'Donnell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Ginger misses the target.
Sycek on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Ginger connects with a solid leg kick.
Sycek shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ginger pinned against the cage. Ginger gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ginger throws an overhand right that lands on Sycek's shoulder, as Sycek tries to avoid the shot.

Ginger throws a leg kick which misses Sycek's front leg but catches the back leg as Sycek tries to avoid it.

Sycek throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ginger was covering up waiting for the punch and Sycek finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Sycek is fighting to break Ginger's control of his arms but Ginger is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Sycek might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Ginger bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sycek's guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Sycek looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ginger is fending him off so far but Sycek persists. Nope, Ginger circles away and we're back to standing.
Sycek throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ginger's waist but Ginger gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sycek off to one side.
Sycek dives in and grabs Ginger's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ginger pushes down on Sycek's head and hops out.

Sycek changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ginger tries to avoid it but Sycek manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ginger to the ground. Ginger escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Ginger connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Sycek shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Ginger throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Sycek closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Samuel Sycek seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ginger lands a big uppercut and Sycek crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Sycek looks OK. Ginger waves Sycek back to his feet!

Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Ginger engages and cracks Sycek with a massive lead left hook - Sycek tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Ginger is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
