Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ding Dong (ranked 4384 p4p, 5240 weight class) and Rong Cheng (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cheng has chosen KO POWER as his entrance music. Rong Cheng is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cheng buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Dong takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
A nice inside leg kick there by Cheng. That's going to slow Dong down.
Cheng throws a poor cross that misses

and Dong counters by clinching up.
Cheng misses with an elbow over the top.
Dong takes an elbow to the temple.
Cheng lands an elbow inside.

It looks like Ding Dong has been cut.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Cheng just misses with a elbow thrown towards Dong's brow.
Dong trying to control the position but instead, Cheng has worked for underhooks and has pushed Dong into the cage.

Cheng drops Dong with a big knee straight up the middle! Dong is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Dong is rocked!

Ding Dong's cut is getting worse.
Dong wants to stay close but Cheng steps back to make room for something. Dong seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Cheng and Dong drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Rong Cheng!
In his post fight interview, Rong Cheng started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
