And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Beto Ribeiro!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hasty looks to land a left hand but Ribeiro moved out of range nicely.
Hasty pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Hasty clinches up against the cage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Ribeiro creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
A bit of stalling here from Hasty.
Hasty displaying some good clinch control by pressing Ribeiro up against the cage.
Hasty gets a warning from the ref for wasting time.

Hasty seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.

Ribeiro's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hasty works Ribeiro's body with a nice hook.

Hasty takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Hasty is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Ribeiro is keeping busy.

Ribeiro blocks an elbow strike.
Ribeiro lands a good knee to the midsection. Hasty won't want to take too many of those.
Ribeiro lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Hasty tries to land a knee to the head but Ribeiro blocks with his arms.
Hasty tries to pull guard but Ribeiro holds him up against the cage and eventually Hasty drops back down to his feet.

Hasty pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hasty is defended easily by Ribeiro.
Ribeiro wants to counter with a clinch but Hasty pushes him away.

A little jabbing left from Ribeiro on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Beto Ribeiro is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ribeiro feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Hastys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Hasty tries to stall but Ribeiro uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Beto Ribeiro decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
