Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ozaki Buakaw (ranked 23802 p4p, 5507 weight class) and Rafael Soto (ranked 401 p4p, 376 weight class). Soto has chosen Parkway Drive - Wild Eyes as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Rafael Soto!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Colin Fray and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buakaw misses with an uppercut
and Soto moves into the clinch.
Soto successfully pulls guard.
Soto looking for a sweep. Not yet Soto, not yet.
Soto manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Buakaw manages to get himself to full guard.
Buakaw keeping moving, preventing Soto from controlling successfully.
Soto is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Soto passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Soto is working to tighten his grip on Buakaw's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Buakaw has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Soto is really squeezing tight and eventually Buakaw passes out! Soto breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Rafael Soto!
Our winner, Rafael Soto, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
