Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jordan Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Cobra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown comes to the cage accompanied by Let the bodies hit the floor. Cobra has chosen Rooster as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!

With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jordan Brown!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, King Cobra!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Joseph Jones and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cobra looks to score with a jab to the body but Brown is just out of range.
Brown throws a series of punches but Cobra avoids them all with ease.
Cobra shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Cobra fails with a takedown attempt.
Cobra tries to clinch up.
Cobra takes one to the side of the head.

Cobra drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Brown looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Cobra has picked Brown up and slammed him! Brown can't keep hold of the triangle and Cobra manages to pass to side control!
Brown tries to improve position but can't.

Cobra is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Brown has escaped the position, nice work there.
Brown tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Cobra wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Cobra wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Brown, who protects the arm well.
You can see the frustration on Brown's face as Cobra controls the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brown tries to buck Cobra off but Cobra is having none of it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Brown leaves Cobra with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Cobra shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Brown pinned against the cage. Brown gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Cobra is trying to control Brown's posture but Brown avoids it.
Cobra is looking to regain half guard here but Brown keeps moving and retains side control.
Cobra is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Brown is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Cobra is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Brown drops back looking for a leg! Cobra is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cobra manages to kick Brown off! Brown jumps back into Cobra's guard.

Brown throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Cobra works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Cobra avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Brown got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cobra has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Brown has managed to get both his arms back between Cobra's legs - danger averted.

Cobra stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brown swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Brown accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Cobra manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Cobra looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Brown is looking to improve his position but Cobra isn't that keen on the idea.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Cobra working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Brown turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Cobra off and cradles Brown's limp body as Cobra celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). King Cobra!
