The crowd cheers as Contra lands an impressive looking overhand right. Russian doesn't seem phased though.
Russian ducks under a wild hook from Contra.

Contra looks to score with a jab to the body but Russian is just out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Contra scores with a hook to the body. Russian takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Contra missing with a left hand there. Russian was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Quail Contra seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Contra throws a combination that misses

No joy there for Contra, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Contra throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Contra lands an overhand right.
Contra throws a jab but it's blocked by Russian.
Contra throws a big shot that misses.
Contra clobbers Russian with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Russian drops Contra with a beautiful combination! Contra stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Russian is looking for the KO!
Contra lunges at Russian with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Russian's hand.
Russian steps in with a hook that catches Contra right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Russian follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Contra looks absolutely devastated.

During a confident post fight interview, Big Russian thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
