PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between J Gay G (ranked 3157 p4p, 2996 weight class) and Mario Santos (ranked 261 p4p, 244 weight class). Gay G kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Down. On his way into the cage it seems that J Gay G has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily J Gay G seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gay G scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Gay G misses the shot to the body.
Gay G seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Santos misses with the combination.
Gay G bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Gay G swings for the body but Santos moves out of range.
Gay G cracks Santos with a right hand to the side of the head.
Santos dips to his left and cracks Gay G with an uppercut!
Gay G shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Santos as he avoids it easily.
Santos moves into range and connects with a jab.
Gay G throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Santos on the side of the head.
Santos ducks under a wild hook from Gay G.
Gay G misses with a looping right.
Santos has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Gay G lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Santos at a distance.
Santos walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Gay G drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Santos swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Gay G's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
