Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mike looks for a takedown but Pippin sprawls well.

Pippin has closed the distance and engaged Mike in a clinch.
Mike tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Pippin just stands there and leans against the cage.

Pippin has picked Mike up - he's going for a ride! Pippin dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Mike wants to improve his position but Pippin is controlling well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mike wants to control but Pippin is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Pippin working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pippin looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Pippin lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Pippin takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
