Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mmm Mmm (ranked 23533 p4p, 6129 weight class) and Zambosurian Inday (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Mmm Mmm has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 79 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mmm Mmm!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 54 - 43 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zambosurian Inday!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Mmm drives through with a takedown into Inday's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Inday can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Mmm controls the pace.
Inday is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Mmm trying to control the position from guard on top but Inday is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mmm is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Inday is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Mmm wants to control but Inday is keeping busy.
Still in half guard, Inday seems content to control.
Inday is thwarting Mmm's attempts to control the position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Mmm slaps away a takedown attempt from Inday, before circling back to the center of the mat.
It appears Mmm was looking to counter with a kick there.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Inday shoots in looking for a takedown. Mmm tries to sprawl out of it but Inday keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mmm manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Inday shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Mmm manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Mmm is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Mmm is trying to keep Inday in close.
Mmm wants to sweep but no luck.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Mmm looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Mmm Mmm will probably get the nod.
That's time! Back to the action!


Inday gets caught flat footed, as Mmm shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Mmm missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Inday pulls Mmm in to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mmm won't allow Inday to sweep him here.
Inday keeping moving, preventing Mmm from controlling successfully.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Inday pulls Mmm in close to prevent any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Mmm is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Inday leaves Mmm with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Inday closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mmm to the mat! Mmm manages to get full guard.
Inday controls from within his opponent's guard.
Mmm not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Inday's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Zambosurian Inday has got the better of the ground game so far.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Mmm wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Mmm is trying to control the position but Inday postures up.
Inday stays in close to Mmm's body and controls the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Mmm looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
A countering left hand to the body from Inday misses.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Inday fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Inday keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Inday replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Mmm blocks it well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mmm Mmm. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Nice takedown defense from Inday. No joy for Mmm on that attempt.
Inday follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Mmm tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Inday defends well and Mmm ends up having to push Inday into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Zambosurian Inday showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Mmm shoots for a double leg takedown but Inday sprawls well. He's pushed Mmm's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Mmm fails with the takedown
and Inday counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Inday looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Inday landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Inday content to control rather than advance.

Mmm trying to control from the bottom.
Inday is controlling the pace.
Mmm is trying to get back to full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Mmm has his hands clasped together around Inday's back. He's all about the action.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Mmm tries to get to full guard but Inday has control of the leg.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Horrible takedown attempt by Mmm or perhaps it was just good defense by Inday, which made it look bad.
Inday with the counter takedown but Mmm avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mmm Mmm. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Mmm stuffs the takedown attempt from Inday. Inday gets slowly back to his feet.
Mmm thinks about countering with a body kick.

Inday changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mmm looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Mmm wants to control but Inday postures up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Inday controls the position.
You can see the frustration on Mmm's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
A lull in the action here as Inday stalls from top position.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Zambosurian Inday comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Inday has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
