Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jim Lingfield (ranked 3292 p4p, 3416 weight class) and Dragomir Savic (ranked 422 p4p, 508 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Savic's choice of entrance music: Good Day. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Lingfield not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lingfield looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Savic with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Lingfield works his foot free and advances to mount.
Lingfield is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Savic can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Lingfield has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Lingfield's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lingfield, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
