Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Slava Fedorov (ranked 4360 p4p, 25290 weight class) and Izi Ruvik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Izi Ruvik is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Sergei Dronov and Ivan Kurochkin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruvik fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Ruvik throws a nice looking combination but Fedorov bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ruvik shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Fedorov defends it nicely.
Fedorov thuds his right hand into Ruvik's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Ruvik misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A counter left hand to the body from Fedorov misses its target.
Ruvik gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Fedorov counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Slava Fedorov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Izi Ruvik.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fedorov uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ruvik has time to react.
Ruvik shoots in looking for a takedown but Fedorov manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ruvik's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

and Fedorov counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Fedorov fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Fedorov scores with a hook to the body. Ruvik takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Oooooh!!! Fedorov has knocked Ruvik down with a huge combo! Fedorov steps away and waves a wobbly Ruvik back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Ruvik is rocked!

It looks like Izi Ruvik has been cut.
Fedorov plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Ruvik swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Ruvik face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
