Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bronze Bomber Chai (ranked 1389 p4p, 2894 weight class) and Brick Knuckles (ranked 170 p4p, 331 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Bronze Bomber Chai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brick Knuckles!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Johanna Lukiainen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chai is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Knuckles.
Knuckles unleashes a big counter combination but Chai bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Knuckles ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Chai moves away.
Knuckles swings and misses with a hook to the body.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Oooooh!!! Knuckles has knocked Chai down with a huge combo! Knuckles steps away and waves a wobbly Chai back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

We've been told by Chai's head coaches at Master Chai's Dojo that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Some bone on bone action there as Chai checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Chai was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Knuckles throws a leg kick but Chai checks it.

and Chai counters with a crisp one two that drops Knuckles! Chai thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Knuckles to his feet! Knuckles is in big trouble!

and Chai counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Knuckles is still on wobbly legs! Can Chai finish him?

Chai ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Knuckles steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Chai.
Knuckles seems to have recovered his senses.
Chai slips under a jab from Knuckles.
It looked like Chai wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Chai sends Knuckles crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Chai is motioning to the referee to let Knuckles up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Chai feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Knuckles sprawling to the canvas! Knuckles rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Chai finish him?!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Knuckles lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

and Chai counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Knuckles thinking.

Knuckles moves out of range as Chai strikes.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Knuckles lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Chai throws a monster overhand right that drops Knuckles! Chai follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
