Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Homer Greatrix (ranked 2500 p4p, 2810 weight class) and Bruno Dukic (ranked 327 p4p, 361 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greatrix closes the distance and clinches up with Dukic, looking for a takedown. Greatrix pushes Dukic against the cage but Dukic circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Greatrix moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Dukic working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Greatrix lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Greatrix drops back looking for a leg! Dukic is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dukic manages to kick Greatrix off! Greatrix jumps back into Dukic's guard.

Greatrix postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Dukic is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Greatrix, into his guard.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Dukic got a little sloppy there for a moment and Greatrix has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dukic has managed to get both his arms back between Greatrix's legs - danger averted.

That was a close round but I would say that Homer Greatrix will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Dukic crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Greatrix - the referee stops the clock and Dukic gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Greatrix. Dukic manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
