The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Xiang manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Erickson on his heels. He'll look to pass Erickson's guard now, I'm sure.
Xiang trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Xiang would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Xiang is fighting to break Erickson's control of his arms but Erickson is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Xiang avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Erickson looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Xiang pushes down on Erickson's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Xiang is looking to advance position but Erickson won't allow it.
Xiang keeps trying to improve his position.
Xiang takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Xiang is looking to stand up but Erickson won't let him.

Erickson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Xiang doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Erickson is tightening it up a little... Xiang has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Xiang reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Xiang taps out! Nice BJJ there by Erickson!
