Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Colin Hasty!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Dillan Fox and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Hasty misses the target.

Hasty closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hasty lands in his opponent's guard.

Jackson looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Hasty working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Hasty got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jackson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hasty has managed to get both his arms back between Jackson's legs - danger averted.

Jackson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hasty is aware though and is defending well.
Jackson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hasty is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jackson pulls his head out easily.
We've been hearing good reports from Jackson's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Jackson throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Hasty is looking for a sweep. Jackson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jackson thows a huge punch but Hasty dodges it nicely.

Jackson seems to be looking for submissions.

Jackson wants to work for an arm triangle but Hasty is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Jackson in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Hasty tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Jackson!
