Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between William Lewis (ranked 2308 p4p, 1785 weight class) and Sam Wylie (ranked 311 p4p, 238 weight class). Wylie has chosen RATM- NO SHELTER as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sam Wylie!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Wylie.
Lewis swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Lewis's corner calls for a 1-2. Lewis obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Lewis's coaches at Shinobi Martial Arts & Ninjutsu have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
Wylie is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Lewis is hurt! He's hurt bad - Wylie fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Lewis from any more punishment! Congratulations to Wylie! Great finish!

After the fight, Sam Wylie was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
