PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Adrian Oyelowo (ranked 3081 p4p, 1922 weight class) and Harry C Distacio (ranked 341 p4p, 235 weight class). Distacio has chosen Gravity Lies - Red as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Harry C Distacio is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oyelowo gets a clinch.
Distacio with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Oyelowo throws a punch but it's blocked by Distacio.

Oyelowo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Distacio throws a shot from downtown. Oyelowo moves away and avoids it.
Oyelowo waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Distacio.
Oyelowo shoots in but no luck this time.
Oyelowo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Distacio as he avoids it easily.
Distacio is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Oyelowo with a body shot.
Oyelowo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Oyelowo sets himself, and Distacio steps forward looking for the clinch! Oyelowo avoids it this time.
Oyelowo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Distacio but Distacio pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Oyelowo shoots in looking for a takedown but Distacio manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Oyelowo's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Oyelowo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Distacio paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Oyelowo looks to land a left hand but Distacio moved out of range nicely.
A looping hook to the body misses from Oyelowo. Distacio does a little dance to reset his feet.

Distacio tries to kick Oyelowo off in order to stand up. Oyelowo Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Oyelowo fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Distacio to the ground. Oyelowo is now in Distacio's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Oyelowo is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Distacio pulls his head out easily.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Oyelowo has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Distacio. Oh but Oyelowo has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Distacio goes limp - he's gone! Oyelowo jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
