Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dmitri Kersikov (ranked 64 p4p, 103 weight class) and John Fisher (ranked 6 p4p, 10 weight class). Kersikov comes to the cage accompanied by Builder - Her Voice (Headhunterz Remix). Dmitri Kersikov has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 14 - 4 - 1, fighting out of New York, Dmitri Kersikov! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 15 - 3 - 1, fighting out of New York, John Fisher! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Fujiwara and Ren Mimura.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fisher misses with a wild body shot. Kersikov looks to land a right hand but Fisher moved out of range. Kersikov moves out of range of the strikes. Fisher throws a hook but Kersikov blocks it. Kersikov scores with a hook. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Kersikov misses with a hook. Fisher ducked under it nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kersikov uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Fisher. Kersikov is looking to counter punch. A good leg kick by Fisher.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Kersikov misses the shot to the body. Kersikov misses the jab. Fisher uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kersikov. Fisher blocks a head kick by Kersikov.
Kersikov has been working on his boxing with his coaches at KFA in the buildup to the fight. A big left from Fisher misses. Kersikov throws a lazy right hand but Fisher sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Fisher just misses with a punch to the body.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Fisher steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kersikov. Kersikov moves into range and connects with a jab. Kersikov scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Fisher doesn't seem bothered though. Kersikov rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Fisher counters with a lovely straight right hand! Kersikov throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Kersikov swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. It seemed like Fisher was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Kersikov connects with a nice looking jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kersikov is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Fisher like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Fisher from another fist facial!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dmitri Kersikov! Dmitri Kersikov retains his featherweight title! An out of breath Dmitri Kersikov thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
