Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Don Cortez (ranked 636 p4p, 1057 weight class) and Tiago Lima (ranked 38 p4p, 62 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cortez went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Lima ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cortez moves away.

Lima looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Cortez lands with an uppercut that bounces Lima off the cage and back into range.

Cortez has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Canadian Combat Academy in the buildup to the fight.
Lima moves forwards but Cortez connects with a nice, crisp jab.

It seemed like Lima was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
