Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Super Salajudin Ii (ranked 223 p4p, 722 weight class) and Calvin Deane (ranked 8 p4p, 41 weight class). Salajudin Ii's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, На белом. Deane has chosen Cinderella Man as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Calvin Deane!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Ackerman and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deane cracks Salajudin Ii with an open hand slap.
Deane fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Deane lands a nice shot that snaps Salajudin Ii's head back.
Deane tries to clinch but Salajudin Ii is having none of it.
Deane lands with an uppercut that bounces Salajudin Ii off the cage and back into range.
A big left from Deane misses.
A lazy left from Deane finds it's target.
Salajudin Ii throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Deane jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Deane shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Salajudin Ii as he jumps to the side.
The fighters circle momentarily. Salajudin Ii darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Salajudin Ii uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Deane.
Deane misses with a looping right.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Salajudin Ii throws a lazy right hand but Deane sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Deane takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Super Salajudin Ii is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Deane gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Salajudin Ii.
Deane moves out of range as Salajudin Ii strikes.
Deane keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Salajudin Ii.
Deane shoots in for a takedown but Salajudin Ii shows good takedown defense.
Salajudin Ii was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Super Salajudin Ii has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Calvin Deane.
Deane throws a big shot that misses.

Deane connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Salajudin Ii's hands.

Deane throws a strike but Salajudin Ii rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Salajudin Ii is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Deane is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Deane has escaped and now he's on top!
Deane with a flurry of punches that miss.
Salajudin Ii is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Salajudin Ii is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Deane reverses the position - he's now on top in Salajudin Ii's guard.
Deane throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Deane must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Deane postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Salajudin Ii had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Deane defends it easily.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Deane working his ground and pound in the gym.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Calvin Deane dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Deane takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Deane ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Deane throws an off balance right hand
and Salajudin Ii counters with a stiff right hand.
Salajudin Ii throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Deane throws a hook to the side of Salajudin Ii's head but Salajudin Ii sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Salajudin Ii lands with a hook. Deane tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Salajudin Ii connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Deane's hands.
Deane shoots in but Salajudin Ii avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Salajudin Ii takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Salajudin Ii gets caught flat footed, as Deane shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Deane gets to his feet and stands over Salajudin Ii, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Salajudin Ii felt that one! Deane unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Salajudin Ii from any more punishment!
