Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hrvoje Kovacevic (ranked 162 p4p, 1241 weight class) and Josh Wilkinson (ranked 24 p4p, 186 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Wilkinson's choice of entrance music: The Who - Eminence front. Hrvoje Kovacevic has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Josh Wilkinson has been cut.
Wilkinson shoots in but Kovacevic avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Wilkinson misses with a takedown
and Kovacevic makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Wilkinson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Kovacevic counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Hrvoje Kovacevic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Josh Wilkinson.

and Kovacevic counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kovacevic drops Wilkinson with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Wilkinson looks back up at him and smiles so Kovacevic waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Kovacevic seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wilkinson is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Kovacevic doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Wilkinson crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Wilkinson's bad books for that mishap!
