Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jing Xin Yi (ranked 1605 p4p, 1698 weight class) and Jake Jones (ranked 219 p4p, 230 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jing Xin Yi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jake Jones!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Sandra Marshall and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Xin Yi.
Jones looks to throw the jab but Xin Yi is out of range.
Xin Yi seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Xin Yi definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
A shot to the body from Jones misses
and Xin Yi counters with a stiff right hand.
Xin Yi's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Jones connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Xin Yi scrambles back to his feet.
Jones waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Xin Yi.
Jones looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
A head kick misses from Xin Yi.
Jones swings widly with a right hand
and Xin Yi counters with a nice uppercut.
Xin Yi ducks under a wild hook from Jones.
Xin Yi lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Xin Yi throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Xin Yi takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Jones misses with a wild body shot.
Xin Yi staying out of range there.
Jones lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Xin Yi at a distance.
Xin Yi lands a big head kick that sends Jones tumbling to the mat! Xin Yi takes a step backwards and waves Jones back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Jones is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jones throws a lazy uppercut
and Xin Yi counters with a right hand from hell and Jones is out cold! A vicious knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jing Xin Yi!
