Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Aqissiac Jacira!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Peetu Tam!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Paul Gruel and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacira lands with a hook. Tam tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
It looks like Peetu Tam has been cut.
Tam misses with a low kick.
Tam is looking to slow Jacira down with leg kicks.
Jacira just misses with a punch to the body.
Tam throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Tam pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jacira is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Tam lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Jacira has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Jacira and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Jacira lands a nice shot to the body.
Jacira fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
A low kick from Tam is predictable there
and Jacira counters with a crisp right hand that drops Tam! Jacira lets Tam back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Tam is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jacira throws a pinpoint strike between Tam's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Tam crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Jacira scores a great knockout victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Aqissiac Jacira!
