Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Michael McConnell (ranked 24946 p4p, 467 weight class) and Darstknasset Oystenteller (ranked 549 p4p, 70 weight class). Oystenteller is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by "You're Having My Baby" by Paul Anka. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oystenteller misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Oystenteller throws a body shot but no joy.
Oystenteller turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
McConnell shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Oystenteller as he avoids it easily.

Oystenteller appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
McConnell goes for a double leg but Oystenteller avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Oystenteller continues to drive forward.

McConnell tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

We've been informed that Oystenteller has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
