Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sinistra Hook (ranked 3168 p4p, 2662 weight class) and Jon Jones (ranked 486 p4p, 424 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sinistra Hook!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jon Jones!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Wagner Zegers and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones misses with a few strikes there.
Hook lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Jon Jones has been cut.
Hook shoots in but Jones avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Hook thuds his right hand into Jones's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Jones feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Hooks jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Hook looks to land a left hand but Jones moved out of range nicely.
Jones looks for a takedown but Hook sprawls well.
Hook was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Sinistra Hook has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Jones.
Jones throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hook tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Jones is in Hook's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jones with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Jones has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Jones throws a big right hand that misses.
Jones distracts Hook with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Hook knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jones on the ground.
Hook lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Hook won't allow Jones to sweep him here.
Jones working for a triangle but Hook defends it easily.

Jones wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Hook is now in half guard.
Jones manages to get to full guard.
Hook has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Jones looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Hook is defending well. Jones quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Hook has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Jones celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
