Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Aleksi Heimo (ranked 525 p4p, 3829 weight class) and Great Tiger (ranked 40 p4p, 238 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 34 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aleksi Heimo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 32 - 49 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Great Tiger!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tiger takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Heimo throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Tiger stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Heimo seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Tiger motions for Heimo to come forward. Tiger throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Heimo lands a really nice looking cross but Tiger seems unphased.
Tiger lands a nice hook to Heimo's body. Heimo takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Heimo tried to score with a low kick but Tiger checks it.
Heimo comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Aleksi Heimo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Heimo darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

It looks like Great Tiger has been cut.
Tiger's coach down at MMA Training and Sparring Buddies was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Tiger's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Heimo misses with a lunging right hand
and Heimo takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Tiger throws the kick towards the body but Heimo avoids it.
Heimo lands a jab to Tiger's midsection.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Heimo throws a wild body kick that Tiger sees coming a mile off.

Tiger uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Heimo.

Heimo bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Tiger's head.
A solid leg kick lands there for Heimo.
Heimo throws an overhand right that lands on Tiger's shoulder, as Tiger tries to avoid the shot.
Tiger uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Heimo.

Heimo takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Tiger misses with a wild combination.
Tiger gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Heimo.
Tiger fails with a takedown attempt.
Heimo scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Heimo connects with a leg kick.
Tiger misses the shot to the body.
Heimo showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Tiger.
A looping hook to the body misses from Heimo. Tiger does a little dance to reset his feet.

As Heimo backs off Tiger throws a huge counter combo but Heimo manages to avoid it all.
Heimo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tiger moves away.

Heimo tests Tiger's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Heimo connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Tiger momentarily.
Aleksi Heimo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Heimo misses with a low kick as Tiger jumps back.
Tiger gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Tiger uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Heimo.

Tiger is rocked!
Heimo throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Tiger crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
